Anyway, Subaa and Rahim taught me a good way to put all the pics tgt.
Save time & space! :D thanks!!
We reached the foot of Mt Emei on a cold, foggy morning.
Boarded a bus up to halfway of the mountain.
I heard from our china friend Tom, he took 3 days to walk up to the summit from the foot of the mountain!
With no buses or cable cars of course. Woahhh.
After a 1 and a half hr of bus ride, we finally reached middle of the mountain.
It was only half of the mountain! but I was freezing already!
My fingers were so cold that I bought gloves while climbing up the mountain.
Look how cold we were! 5 layers!! I am not kidding! Maybe becos we don have proper winter/thermal wear, that's why. |
Finally, we reached the Cable car station!
This, of course was not the end, we had to squeeze into a large cable car up. :D
Packed like sardine D:
then, after a 15min walk, we finally reached the summit!
It was really beautiful, the 48metres tall golden Buddha, standing there, so solid and strong.
We took lots of jumpshots up there! :D :D :D
We headed down to the halfway stop again to have our lunch.
However, this time, it was a bumpy 1hr plus bus ride.
Some of us had motion sickness and all. D:
After lunch, we took another smaller cable car (the ones we always see) up to the 2nd part of the mountain.
The Wan Nian Temple! 万年寺.
I prayed for a Whole- family set, smth likedat.
Hopefully, it will really bless my whole family! :D
We had to walk downhill, no cable car this time.
5km++ down the mountain.
So mr cheah & mr nick called for people to carry rahim down
Dinner at Chengdu at 9pm
And reached back school at 11.30pm.
It was indeed a long, well-spent weekend.
And from tmr onwards, time for some hardcore SDC! D:
Friends always keep you warm on cold days :D
